These past few years I’ve been working full time in sales and part-time blogging. I spend a lot of time talking to people for work and take a lot of smiling pictures for the blog. Keeping my smile white is super important to me! Unfortunately, I’ve had to drink A LOT of coffee to keep me going, which has changed the color of my teeth.
I’ve tried whitening strips in the past, without much success. The whitening strips really irritate my gums and give me terrible tooth sensitivity. The sensitivity was sometimes so bad that I’d have to remove the strip before the recommended usage time and take a break from using them. I’ve had to use at least half the box of strips before I noticed any change in tooth color. Due to the pain and low efficacy, I had to try something else.
I’ve been using Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening System for about a month, with applications every other day or so. The kit is super easy to use! First, you use the base and catalyst clays that you are given to create a mold of the top and bottom of your teeth. (I have to admit I was a little nervous that I was going to mess up my trays, but I was able to get it right on the first try. They even give you extra of the molding clay in case you mess up!) Then you send in the molds to Smile Brilliant’s lab, and they create custom-fitted trays for you. Once you get your trays back, you apply the cute little whitening gel syringes into the tray. You put the trays in your mouth, smooth out the gel, and leave it in for 45 min to 2hrs. I usually do about 45 min per application.
I was expecting that it would take a few applications before I noticed any difference, but I was pleasantly surprised that I noticed a change in the color of my teeth after literally one use!
I’m even able to use the trays two days in a row, for 45 minutes each application with very minimal sensitivity. I have no sensitivity in my gums which is AMAZING. The only teeth that occasionally I feel some sensitivity after using the trays are the teeth that are affected from grinding that I do at night. My kit came with desensitizing gel, which helps!

I would definitely recommend this kit! I love the personalization and the effectiveness of the trays. I wish someone had told me sooner about Smile Brilliant!
