Last month my coworker planned a team outing at the Santa Barbara Polo Club to watch a match. Naturally I am drawn to any event that requires the audience to dress up. As I was planning out my outfit, I kept thinking of the song Off to the Races by Lana Del Rey and of course, the movie Pretty Woman. Both horse races and polo matches require similar attire: big hats, classy dresses and wedge heels.
I wore a white fit and flare dress with crochet detail by Red Valentino. I love how this dress has a slightly off-shoulder strap detail.
I paired the dress with an off-white wide brim hat by Lanzom and Soludos Wedge Heel Sandals. Find a similar necklace here .
